These principles are the essence of our design philosophy. Our legacy, as pioneers of the modern multihull, gives us a unique perspective with which we approach every custom design project. In the intervening decades since 1947 when MANUKAI, the very first modern multihull was launched at Paiko Lagoon, O`ahu, by Woody Brown, Alfred Kumalae and Rudy Choy, astonishing achievements in design, construction and materials technology have taken place. As in the past, the “trickle-down” technology transfer that occurs between the aerospace industry and ours brings about opportunities for unique thinking and new approaches.
